About Us Our Staff

Our Pastor: Andrew, Crystal, Claire & Asher Davis

After five years of ministry in Alabama, Bro. Andrew returned to his home state of Virginia, ultimately to assume the pastorate at Fellowship. God has done some wonderful things here, and Pastor Davis often says he’s just glad to be “along for the ride”. His heart is to see folks come to know Christ, be baptized, and grow as Christians that they might in turn go out and win others. His passion is to bring sound, balanced messages from the pulpit that help us all to leave the service more like Christ than we came in. He currently serves on the board of the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools and is very involved with Christian education statewide. Pastor Davis enjoys reading, writing, and pulling for his favorite teams- the University of Virginia Cavaliers, the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Redskins. But his favorite pastime is spending time with the loves of his life; his wife Crystal, daughter Claire and son Asher. Mrs. Crystal is heavily involved in the activities of the church, and works part-time as a Labor & Delivery nurse. She spends her Autumns cheering for the Crimson Tide of Alabama. Claire and Asher spend most of their time just being awesome. One way to get better acquainted with Pastor Andrew Davis and his family is to follow them on Facebook and Twitter. You can also listen to his Alethia radio broadcast each Sunday morning from 9:30-10:00 a.m. on WYVE 1280am.

Vicki Caviness

Office Manager

Since 1993, Vicki Caviness has stood at the front lines of our ministry. Any pastor that’s honest will attest that a good office manager is essential to things running smoothly from day to day. This is a true statement and we have been blessed to have a great one. If you’ve ever called our offices, chances are you have heard her friendly voice on the other end of the line. Along with volunteers from the church, Mrs. Vicki maintains order amidst Pastor Davis’ chaos. Interestingly, she is also a member of the original graduating class of Granite Christian Academy. Mrs. Caviness is truly a blessing to our ministry.

Aron Davies

Associate Pastor, GCA Administrator

Bro. Davies is a seasoned veteran of Christians education and his arrival has paid immediate dividends to Granite Christian Academy and to our ministry as a whole. His experience and diverse knowledge of all things ministerial has made him indispensable as a co-laborer. Bro. Davies, his wife Deanna and their precious children are a true blessing to our church family. We look forward to many years of serving the Saviour together.

Stuart Warden

Stuart Warden

Music Director

For over 35 years, members and visitors alike have been greeted at the beginning of the service by the distinctive voice of Bro. Stuart Warden. Pastor Davis likes to call him the “Velvet Voice” and the “Thrill from Locust Hill.” As our music director, Bro. Warden is responsible to lead the congregation in the songs and hymns that turn our attention from the cares of this world to the truth of God’s Word. His commanding voice is matched only by a tender heart that displays his love for the Saviour and for His church. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and meet this faithful servant of God.

Robert Branson

Robert Branson

Bro. Branson works with our children’s and teen ministries. In addition to overseeing our weekly “Children’s Church,” he assists the pastor in the planning of regular youth activities and outings. He has proven himself indispensable to the work both at Fellowship as well as in Granite Christian Academy. Bro. Branson is a die hard fan of the VA Tech Hokies as well as the Baltimore Orioles. He and his family are a great blessing to us here at FBC.
